Brand new for the 2014 season, we have some excellent Raleigh Velo XC eBikes available for hire. They have light aluminium frames, 26″ wheels, suspension forks, and v-brakes. The Lithium battery is mounted beneath the pannier rack; and fully charged, you have a range of around 25 miles of pedal assisted cycling. These bikes will flatten out even the most challenging of hills – enabling you to simply enjoy the breathtaking views without losing your breath… Both the low step through frame, and the crossbar frame are available for hire. Bude Bikes are also retailing all of the Raleigh bike range, and so the hire bikes can be used as a demo for anyone who may be considering the switch to an electric bike. You obviously have the freedom to go wherever, or however far, you wish – but we do have several routes that we can recommend. We can supply you with helmets, bike lock, pump, and a map all included within the price of your bike hire. Most of our routes will pass at least one place that we can recommend for a lunch/refreshment stop. If you are staying in the locality for a week or so – we can also offer reduced rates for longer hire terms and we can arrange delivery and collection to your holiday accommodation. Bike Hire is available in Bude during the Winter

As the days get shorter and colder, and the tourist season draws to an end – on Saturday 2nd November 2013 we will be closing the bike hire shop and re-opening again in February 2014. Bike Hire and Bike Servicing are still available throughout the winter, but they will need to be arranged with us in advance. To arrange bike hire or to book a bike in for a service, please call us on 07749 408100 or email us using the contact page on the website. In most cases we will need a minimum of 24 hours notice. Hire Bikes will then be made available to collect from the shop at the pre-arranged date and time. Between 12th November and 24th December 2013 our premises will be used by a Christmas Shop called’ Nadelik’ (which is Cornish for Christmas), selling Christmas Trees, Lights, Decorations, and Christmas Crackers etc… Don’t panic, Bude Bikes are not disappearing… we’re just hibernating during the cold spell...
